I personally have never sports bet really or been a casino slots person etc...I used to have a ton of rules i followed didnt really deposit till like 2016 or 2018 ever....Was all winnings starting with freerolls I used for years to play poker.. Therefore I never considered poker gambling had rules was a skill set if followed rules was profitable...Have i thrown away money? Yes just like going to bar money could burn didnt care about....If went to vegas few times spent few hundred if played live poker usually played with like 300 left if lost etc...I am not a good person for this really cause I was very lucky to win a lot early in 2000's and use that money to fund poker from that point on....Now do I live life knowing im not taking it with me sure....I def live that life lol...edit a side note early 2000s i would go on boats outside of tampa with the 50-300 and i won every time... a bad boat trip id win 250....I really did win every time i played...most people were on vacation they liked the action called you down etc...easy winnings....back in day was 100 sites freerolls every half hour basically i never played bigger then probably 10 dollars till 2006 on full tilt did some 50 dollar buy ins....now i dont want to play under like 6.60 buy ins...but i still do micro and do well....ive still refused to deposit but did to get into the 10k freeroll on wsop mi and that paid off but im taking my time...see what i see...problem was for a long time i like acr and games they have fields but hate the software so slowly gonna check out wsop mi pokerstars mi and party or betmgm mi but havent committed nothing really yet....not a gambler I guess just a poker lover..will add ive won more money then ill ever have again in poker over the years...im disabled money is not tight but saving working on credit figuring out future plan how to live where to live etc....im 55 now and still have a very weak heart so nothing is guaranteed but as said i wont take it with me...but ya trying to save get a house at some pointIn what ways has poker changed your perspective on money? or has your perspective on money changed at all?

As for me, I used to think that if you worked honestly today and did everything right, you would definitely get your payment. Now I know that this is not true. You can work for several hours, do everything right, but lose money. This is poker. Would you change any of your decision making while playing poker? For example, possibly change the stakes that you normally play?I don't think poker has a good influence in my perspective on money, because you can win (and also lose) a significant amount of money so fast (specially here where I live where $1 worth 5x our currency) and I never would spend this amount of money in the "real world".
