Yeah ... That was my first thought but you have to remember to have the volume muted, otherwise a nosey neighbour on their throne might file a report of shinanigans to the boss. .. Also cussing from a bad beat could be misconstrued as suffering severe constipation or bowel problems.
butt your big loads could mask the noise🤣🤣🤣

I love poker, but I don't have enough time to work together.
How do people with jobs play poker?
I'm actually retired, so it's not hard to find time to play now. But when I worked 5 days a week, I could only play poker on weekends. In my case, it was the only way to combine poker with work.

Yes, as long as it is a hobby and does not interfere with our work, I don't see any problem.

Own and run my own small business. Only play poker as a hobby/rec player. I play both cash and longer blind level(10+ min) MTT's.

I personally schedule my MTT's for weekends when I have the time. That's when the vast majority play and that's when the GTD's are the biggest. I schedule my hand review study time to Mondays and Tuesdays. The rest week when I wanna play and have free time I'll double table full-cash. This is a great schedule for playing online poker if one can make it work for them.

Poker's been a nice little side hustle for me over the last 20 years. It's helped pay for a number of things I would never have owned or brought otherwise. Has paid for a few vacations for me and the wife. Has helped me pay off car loans/loans in general off.

Cheers!!!

It's difficult unless you have a part-time job, so you can play poker in the evenings.

My schedule’s pretty good now, so I can make time for poker. But when I’m with friends, I can only play a bit on my phone.

Often you have to sacrifice a lot for the sake of the game, for example, communication with family and free time, but you always need to find compromises and set priorities correctly.

I work from home, so I can combine work and poker. If you work outside the home, I think it will be difficult to combine. Alternatively, you can find a job where you need to work for example 4 or 5 hours a day, and then you will have free time to play poker.

Such a game is unlikely to be profitable

Without a job I feel that poker would be a lot more stressful, because then you need to win. Whereas with a job it's fun to win.

Yeah, I can definitely combine poker with my works long as I manage my time well, keep it in balance, and make sure it doesn't affect my work or personal life.

I combine work and poker, and although it's quite difficult, I've gotten used to it. I've been playing poker for over 8 years and to be honest, I can't imagine my life without this game.

My job has a lot of downtime. Great for playing low stakes/ free MTT's. Terrible for anything with something to substantial to loose. The job is obviously more important than poker so I have to just ignore the MTT when shit hits the fan at work.
