As soon as it started online, I would play for more than 10 hours, as time went by, I would play for 6 to 8 hours, currently I play between 3 to 4 hours and on some days because of my activities on my properties and trips, I only play for 1 hour and sometimes I can't play

About 10 years ago, I used to play at least 7-8 hours a day.
Now I'm down to 4-5 hours depending on what's there to be played.

Are you aware of the free course available here on CC?
I really don't think I could give you better tips than what you'll find in it. Its content is very helpful to beginners and intermediate players as well.

I actually have it in my to do list and have bookmarked it already. Never had the courage to start it yet, but, this message from you could well be the influencing factor for me to start taking that course 😌

I haven't been playing much lately, but about 3 months ago I think I spent about 3 to 5 hours playing poker or casino every day

Interesting question! Personally, I don't really have a fixed schedule, it depends a lot on how my day looks. On average I'd say I put in around 1-2 hours, mostly in the evenings. If I register for a tournament that runs deep, then of course it can easily stretch to 4-5 hours.

I used to play more when I first started, but over time I've tried to balance poker with other hobbies so I don't burn out. Quick cash game sessions are my go-to if I only have a bit of free time, but MTTs definitely make me lose track of the clock sometimes.

We all know poker (and sometimes even casino games) can be a real time magnet—you sit down “just for a bit” and suddenly hours disappear like magic. It got me wondering… how much time do you all actually end up playing every day?

For me, it’s usually around 3–4 hours daily, and this has been my routine for the past six months. Some days I feel like I’m being super productive, other days I’m like: “Wow, I really just played half my evening away!”

So I thought I’d throw this question out to the community:

- On average, how much daily playtime do you put in?
- Do you hop in for a quick session, or lose track of time and grind for hours?
- Has your poker clock changed over time? (Are you playing more… or maybe less than before?)

Be honest—are you a *just 1 hour and done* kind of player, or do you secretly grind like it’s a mini full-time job?

Looking forward to hearing how everyone manages their poker time!
online casinos are the worst. They are always right there, ready for your one weak moment.

I rarely play casino, but when I do, it's to execute a strategy, win, and leave. Little by little, the chicken fills its crop.
When it comes to online poker, I usually have two schedules:
1. I start warming up at 1 PM and start playing at 2 PM;
2. I start warming up around 11 PM and start playing at 11:30 PM.

I usually register for both games I see would be good to play, but if the session is going really badly, I stop registering two hours before the last scheduled registration.

My sessions are usually approximately 10 to 12 hours long.
And my day off depends on whether there's a live show on Saturday or Friday.

Sounds amazing and I wonder if Poker is your full time job?
