How much time do you dedicate to poker? Full part time?

Poker is just a leisure activity for me, not work. I don’t put any pressure on myself, I play only when I feel like it and have the time.

Even though I have been playing for over 20 years, I still treat poker as a hobby and a very good tool to improve my home budget.

First you need to learn how to lose correctly, and then you'll just start winning)

I am retired, I play at 888 poker room and only in freerolls. The first one starts at 2 pm and the last one at 1 am. In between, depending on when I drop out, I have shorter or longer breaks.

It depends on the day, on the weekends I play a lot but during the week I only play short tournaments.

If you want to become a professional, the ideal is to play for 5 to 8 hours a day.

I think everyone should play when they feel free and just consider poker just a hobby

From 6 to 8 hours a day, when it goes beyond that it's because we're lining up!🤑🤑🤑

I usually spend a few hours each day on poker, depending on my schedule. Some days I play longer sessions, and other days I focus on studying hands, reviewing sessions, or watching strategy content. Consistency matters more than just the total hours.

I play for a couple of hours from time to time, sometimes I'm busy taking care of my grandchildren and I can't play.

I usually play part-time — mostly in the evenings after work. It’s my way to relax and stay cool! no pressure, just trying to getsome profits.

For me, poker is definitely more than just a hobby. I play as a professional and my main goal is to make the most money I can from the game. That means I dedicate a lot of time not only to grinding but also to studying, reviewing hands, and improving my strategy. Streaming is also a big part of my routine, since it pushes me to stay disciplined and share my journey with others.

I treat poker like a full-time job because I believe that’s the only way to consistently progress and reach bigger results. Of course, the hours can vary depending on the schedule or the grind of a particular series, but the focus is always on growth and profitability.

I’d be interested in hearing from others who also approach poker professionally—how do you balance the volume of play with study time? Do you find streaming or content creation helps with discipline as much as it does for me?
