I’ve been thinking about how differently people approach the game depending on whether it’s online or live. For me, online poker feels more fast-paced, with tougher multi-tabling decisions and less time to think. Live poker, on the other hand, has a slower rhythm but brings in the psychological aspect — reading people, handling table talk, and managing your own patience.

So I wanted to ask the community:

Do you feel stronger playing online or live?

What are the biggest adjustments you make when switching between the two formats?

And do you think one format makes you a better player in the other?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Live play better, and poker starts playing more and more online this days

I only played live once, and I won some money then, but I think experience and poker knowledge are much more important than online.

I think I'm better at live poker, I like it better.
The atmosphere is different, you can read people's reactions.
There are no bots like online.
There are no statistics next to the names, just in your head.

Playing better online, because is easier to focus . But playing better doesn't always translate to making money, since playing live I am always semi-drunk, playing semi-bad and making more money than online.

Online is more profitable for those who play several tables at the same time, so it's much more worthwhile, I prefer online

I usually play better online because I can focus more on strategy and analyze situations without distractions. But live poker has its own charm - reading people, table talk, and atmosphere make it a different kind of challenge.

I feel like my reads are much stronger in live poker, so I generally play better there.

I prefer online - - they don't have any freerolls live. Plus I get nervous as all ___k when I'm playing live poker tournaments.

I play better live, but it's been almost 10 years since I've played only online, and perhaps live would make me skip some hands that I would play online out of fear! I'm very sharp online, but nothing compares to live, and in this mode, my posture and vision... I leave people very vulnerable because I'm a great player at the table!
