I think many players can relate to that feeling — the excitement before a game and then the emptiness that sometimes comes after a big win. It shows that money alone doesn’t bring lasting satisfaction, even in poker. What really keeps the game enjoyable long term are the challenges, the strategy, and the community around it. Without that, the wins can start to feel hollow pretty quickly.

I actually think that everyone from Community should come to Amsterdam and have a relaxing vacation! Maybe even play poker in a club somewhere together! I will definitely mention this later, as I will be bored alone in Amsterdam.

Is there never enough money?
It's true, there usually isn't enough. But I think the main reason for this shortage is not the amount of money in the bank, but ordinary greed.

Yeah, you’re right 👍 That pre-game excitement is totally normal, it keeps us motivated. And after a big win, it’s funny how sometimes the brain doesn’t really process it, so you get that strange empty or even down feeling. The key is not letting it affect us too much, and just finding balance between fun and results… after all, poker is a marathon, not a sprint 😉.

I know that feeling. The emotional swings in poker can be intense — chasing wins and then feeling empty after a big one. Finding balance is key.
