Las Vegas hotel and casino employees typically will not disclose if your room has bed bugs, details on how much of an auto-gratuity for housekeeping goes to the staff, or instances of individuals dying on casino property due to financial ruin or other reasons, as this information can deter tourists and is often withheld to maintain image and avoid controversy.

Additionally, they are not supposed to share celebrity guest information, and their tips are often at risk of being stolen by other staff members.

I would suspect they dont tell you how to get a better room rate or added bonuses, unless they benefit somehow.

It seems that the employees themselves are also instructed to "play" with the customers, they always appear with some card up their sleeve.
