I guess, I would not participate in this as I do not play any casino games and also would not recommend someone to play them, honestly.
In my opinion, you can only lose money with them in the long term.

Back in the day, I was told to avoid the Casino, because the house always wins.

For the most part it's true. Lately it's been bad for me playing slots on ACR. A lot of dud bonuses. It's getting old to me, same old story.

I voted somewhat likely because I do like to just blow some money in a casino sometimes
but like someone else said it would depend on the topic. mainly being selfish it would depend on
the benefit, if I could learn something or add something I would be more likely to participate.
I used to play perfect basic strategy in blackjack but it has been a while
and when I go to my local casino now I mix in some (gut) guesses.
I would have voted very likely if it was a variants thread lol.

I voted somewhat likely.

The reason for this is that I do sometimes play casino, but acknowledge the obvious big risks of playing such games as slots. Topics like blackjack would perhaps interest me to read more about.

However, I perhaps wonder about the reason behind the poll. Is this a ‘test the water’ approach to the potential diversification of CardsChat towards offering / getting involved in casino offers and bonuses or (hopefully) simply another avenue of conversation for discussion.

I was once an active member of an online forum type site that appeared dedicated to poker, however if you look at it today, the majority of conversation is about casinos and most of their promotions and bonus offers relate to casino, rather than poker (while still offering some conversation and bonuses and freerolls on poker). A good example of this is the balance of their Christmas promotions which at one time was heavily focussed towards poker, but is now primarily casino bonuses (mainly aimed at getting players to sign up to new sites.).

Such an approach would worry me if CardsChat went down that line, although I appreciate the lucrative nature of it for commercial purposes.

I rarely participate in casino topics, but if there is a topic that can really interest me, then I will be ready to participate in such a discussion. I would be primarily interested in topics with various promotions that take place in certain casinos.

Yes i will participate in the forum. I play casino games quite often. Poker is my main play but I like Black Jack, Video poker, Some Slots. I find it dull to just stick with one game day after day or ever how often I play. I like to mix it up with different casino game. I'm stuck in a place in the USA that all the big online poker sites are not an option with the exception of ACR. I've learned to stay on a strick disiple when it come to stopping, on the winning end and losing end. If you keep on going with a stopping point you will lose you behind. Found that out the hard way by getting to greedy. Win a little or a lot, stop. Comeback again, use the same system of how much winnings you need to win and stop. End up losing your set amount ,stop.

Honestly, casino games are not appealing for me in terms of potential winnings, even if they are just played for fun.
But I really appreciate talking about some casino games, odds, potential winnings, good strategies, etc.
If the topic is interesting, and if it is a good thread to talk about, why not?

If yes, I voted "Very likely" because I've been always impressed by how casinos are run.
Being able to offer so many games, a wide range of entertainment and many other forms of gambling under one roof and making tons of money despite the cost of managing the whole thing, security included can IMO, be compared to run a small country.
