A few years ago, I was playing roulette at a casino! I kept a chip and at home I broke it to see if there was something inside... and what do you know? I found a round, metallic layer that looked like a chip!!! Could this be the one that shows where you placed the chip? And why?..."Since then, I no longer play roulette in the casino, I just have fun playing slots!"

"I asked ChatGPT what it thinks about this, and here’s the answer it gave: In some modern casinos, RFID chips (with a small radio chip and antenna inside) may be used. These chips are mainly for:

  • keeping track of chips,
  • protecting against counterfeits,
  • monitoring their movement on the table and in the cashier.
So it’s more about security and control, not about detecting where you place your bet."

I mean.... anyone can look at the table and see where you placed your chip it's not classified information,

anyway RFID chips are used to help casinos keep track of chips and help with thieves and counterfeiters,

it also allows them to trace the chips location and to deactivate them when the chips are stolen from the casino👍

OK!It’s your opinion, and I respect it!

The chips you say can be stolen and then deactivated are already paid for! And if they are stolen, they can only be stolen from the casino cashier or from the roulette table, from the dealers! There is also security and cameras everywhere there! That’s not the purpose...

I was playing roulette and the ball didn’t land in the spot, it stayed on top, seemingly stuck at the top of the slot, and didn’t drop!Explanation:
The ball gets electrostatically charged!
During rapid spinning, through contact with the edge of the roulette or friction with the air and table materials, the ball can accumulate electric charges.
This charge alone is not enough to generate a strong field, but it creates an interaction with existing magnetic fields nearby.
The magnetic field can be controlled by electric current. If it is controlled, it can be activated only at certain moments, which would allow influencing the results in real time.
Ball–magnetic field interaction
The metallic ball, electrostatically charged, can be easily deflected or even attracted by the magnetic field created by the current.
If the location is exactly above a 'node' of the magnetic field generated by the current, the ball can be 'sucked' or deflected toward the top of the slot, even if it is sloped.
Electric current generates a magnetic field
According to Ampère's law, any electric current creates a magnetic field around the conductor.
In the case of an electrified roulette table (e.g., counting system, lighting, small motors), currents passing through metal components can generate local magnetic fields. These phenomena do not normally occur in licensed and regulated casinos, where roulettes are tested.Electrostatics may contribute, but magnetism is what actually explains the deflection or 'sticking'!!!Now I tell you that anything is possible! Especially when you play online!Online, everything you see — deflections, 'sticking,' or jumps of the ball — are visual simulations, not real physical phenomena. So here 'anything is possible,' but only for the eyes, not in reality.
In the online environment, there are no physical balls, so physical phenomena (gravity, friction, magnetism) have nothing to do with what you see.
Everything is simulated by an algorithm, often a random number generator (RNG), which determines the result instantly.
Any apparent deflection, 'sticking,' or jump of the ball is strictly a visual effect, designed to make the game more realistic and dramatic for the player.
Why it sometimes seems 'unusual'

Designers can program special effects: the ball to 'fly' longer, appear to stop on the edge, or slightly change trajectory before falling.
This does not mean the final result is not random — but the player's perception can be visually manipulated.
In some less regulated cases, animations can be made to give the impression that certain numbers appear more often (not legal in licensed casinos)...

Yeah . For sure they fo this for security reasons . To avoid scams with their chips , and save their money . If ot was easy to produce or copy the casino chips , and then use them , try to exchange them for cash in the casino , that would be a big scam for sure .

Have you ever tried taking a slot machine home to take it apart and see what's inside?
If you ever decide to quit playing slots, try looking inside one. You'll be surprised.

Wrong, wrong, wrong :ROFLMAO: Naturally it is chocolate (y)
The higher the chip value the better the chocolate.
The more you eat off your stack, the less the house has to pay out.

It is quite surprising. I assumed there would be something like peanut butter or jam inside. I would never have imagined there would be a chip. Perhaps you visited an extraterrestrial casino?

Do casinos have to go through all that sophisticated technology to scam players while they are already making tons of money with their edge?
Honestly, I don't think so.
They do spend a lot of what they make on security, that's for sure. But going to the extent of using Electromagnetism to cheat on roulette table when they're continuously reaping thousands of dollars is highly doubtful.

That’s exactly why, if you read everything, I said that you should only play in regulated, licensed, verified casinos! Not in gaming halls that look like casinos or anything like that

As they say, the casino is always in profit. I don’t play either casinos or online slots. If they give free spins on slots, then fine, I’ll spin them — but as soon as they’re over, I leave.

That's a good point. Gaming halls that want to look like casinos would certainly do anything to gain any edge they could.

It would be interesting to take a dozen of these chips, grind them in a coffee grinder, and then make yourself a hot drink. Would this have any effect on the game?
I think it would.

HaHa! Over the years, the chips have worn me down! It’s good what you say, that this is how I should respond on my part!!!"
