Hey folks,

I’ve heard that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin can be used to make payments in online casinos. Have you ever tried using crypto personally? Would you recommend it over traditional money payments? Also, do any offline casinos accept cryptocurrency? I’m guessing not, but please correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m considering using crypto to add funds to my WPT Global account, so I’d love to hear about your experiences.

I used it once to put some money on GG. I found the service fees (from where I had my crypto) extremely high, so I haven't done it again.

Some sites are indeed accepting cryptocurrencies now. I deposited some bitcoins in one of them (Don't want to advertise), but it was a rip off. The fee was too high and I'm not even sure who charged it, the site, the wallet or both. So obviously, I'm very far from recommending it.
As to offline casinos, I really have no idea.
If you want to deposit some crypto in WPT, make sure you check with both sides what the fees would be.

Good luck man!

I used cryptocurrencies to top up my balance on several poker sites. Specifically, on ACR and Betonline. But these sites also offer casino games, so I could use these funds to play if I wanted to. I think there are a lot of online casinos that accept cryptocurrency now. Of course, not all of them are reliable, but I think you can find something worthwhile if you need to.

Cryptocurrency casino revenues estimated at $80 billion.Crypto casino sites are blocked in many countries, including the US, China and the UK, but they remain accessible via VPN and mirror resources.Unlike regulated platforms, crypto casinos often do not require identity verification and do not set limits.

Depending where you live crypto may be one of the only ways to make deposits and withdrawals.

Seems seemless, but you would always have the risk of fluctuations in the price of crypto.
