For a movie about a casino, and not about playing games in a casino, I'd say that Martin Scorsese's Casino is without equal. It is based upon a true story, and was pretty close to the facts. An interesting piece of trivia from the film is that the crooked gaming board chairman, played by Dick Smothers, was in real life the late US Senator Harry Reid of Nevada.

Among casino films, De Niro's Casino is clearly the best.
If we only watch poker, then the following movies are the best that I watch every time when they are on TV:

- Casino Royale
- Lucky You
