Hello dear friends, as always I am interested to know your opinions about some things.
Today I want to know your opinion about the best way to win in the casino, is it poker or black jack or roulette or slot machines...?

Pretty sure the best way to win in the casino is to never step foot inside the door

But call me old fashioned, maybe that was before professional poker was a thing and we could have a massive edge on our opponents by game selecting, seat selecting and applying winning poker strategy over, and over, and over again :drunken_s

Baccarat is the least house advantage game in any casino

I would say from my experience the best way to win is playing poker. As a killed player that is. You cant just walk in and expect success, you have to work hard and understand the game in every aspect. slots are random luck, although I think everyone knows someone who seems to always be hitting some nice jackpots. I can't imagine how much money I have lost on the slots. Once in KC I hit 2000 dollars, but that's it. For the most part, slots for me is just to pass time, then I only enjoy the older fashion reel machines.

Try to avoid the built in house edge..

Poker is the only game at the casino where it is fair, house doesn't have an edge. Black Jack, house has the edge, unless you aren't an obvious card counter.
Since you're at a casino, on a break from the poker room, I play around. Prefer craps, at least you get your turn to throw the dice, you're doing something, after a long period of poker.

Poker and handicapping horseracing gives you the best shot in the long run. Both are a grind and take a lot of skill, study, and hours put in to be profitable though. In the other casino games the house always has an edge as many others have said in this thread. Counting at blackjack is profitable but it's most likely getting you barred at a minimum. In the old days a beating and physically thrown out on your ass was common if caught. I wouldn't recommend it. Always try and stay within range of what you can afford to lose obviously. Easier said than done for many casino patrons.

In all honesty, the BEST way to make money in a casino is to work there. Boring answer, I know, but it’s true. Assuming that is not an option then your next best bets would probably be poker, either video or live. some video poker machines, if played correctly, either have a player advantage (which is rare in a casino) or at least a really, really small house advantage. If you have the bankroll and discipline you can make money off of those games, assuming you can find them. Live poker gives you an advantage because you aren’t playing against the house, you are playing against other people. Assuming you have the skill and discipline you can make money off of poker by playing against people who don’t have either. But you probably aren’t going to make a lot of money and it will take a lot of time. It is important to remember that, in a casino, virtually everything from the lighting down is designed to give the casino the advantage. Casinos are meant to be an entertainment for gamblers, rather than a revenue stream. Over the long term, the more money you wager in a casino, the more money you are likely to lose. Some people will get lucky, but that’s exactly what it is, luck. Unless you are cheating (which I don’t advise) there are no legitimate ways to guarantee you come out ahead.
