Just for fun (or for therapy 😅)...

What’s the worst bad beat you’ve had recently?

Mine: I had K♠ K♣ vs Q♥ Q♦, all-in preflop...
Flop: 2♣ 9♥ 7♠
Turn: 3♦
River: Q♠ 😭

Let me hear yours!

There were so many of them that the rating no longer makes sense, at least for me :)
I just move on and don't pay attention to such moments, the main thing is my long-term goals :)

I don’t keep such statistics; I don’t have time for it.Even with strategy and experience, players cannot control every aspect of the game. As a result, even the strongest hands can be defeated by less likely combinations of cards.

I play a lot and dont keep track of, what the latest or worst bad beat was. But if I have to pick one, then I still remember a hand from a 16NL cash game many years ago, that went like this: Villain limp, I isolate to 4BB, Villain min-click 3-bet to 7BB, I call. My cards are :ah4::7h4:, and flop comes :7d4::7c4::js4:, so obviously very good flop for me. Villain check, I bet, Villain check-raise, I jam, and he call it off for around 100BB. He flip over :as4::ad4:, turn and river were :4c4::ac4:. This hand stood out to me, because the Villain played it so poorly on both streets and still managed to get bailed out by hitting a 1-outer.

As for your hand I mostly play tournaments these days, and I dont even consider preflop all-in situations to be bad beats, unless its a completely dominated situation like :ks4::kd4: against :kh4::js4: or similar. It seems like, you focus on the fact, :qs4: came on the river, but this does not matter, when the money went in preflop. In that situation there is no flop, turn or river but just 5 cards dealt all at the same time. Or at least thats the best way to see the situation from a mental point of view.

Worst recent one is, some maniac who has too much money for 2-4 opens 20 early position. I flat with :ah4: :8h4: also from early position (I'm way ahead of his range).

Flop comes :4d4: :6d4: :8c4: . He bets 50. I raise 150. He calls.

Turn comes :8d4: Pot is now about 350 and I have about 200 left. He goes all-in. I call. He has some garbage like :qd4: :5d4: (idk if he had the gutshot or not on the Flop, but it was Queen + some disconnected diamond). Dealer declines to hand me a boat on the River. -400€

It was a live satellite in Vienna. A guy from middle position jams all in. I have AJo in the Big blind and only a little over 10BB, so i call;

Villain shows QJo! Great!

Flop: A, 8, 5! Even better! The villain is almost drawing dead!

Turn: 9, River: 10! I lose to a straight.

The players at the table went nuts about this outcome, but i did not care at all, so i did not play poker for several years!

AA v AA HU for 400bb

The pity party won't make you better at poker, and if it wouldn't have won a bad beat jackpot it wasn't that bad of a beat.

The last really sick one I remember was when I had 2 Pair on the Flop and my opponent had the same top pair with a weaker kicker and hit his kicker on both turn and river.

I think I had k10 and my opponent K8. Flop was k10 and some low card. Turn 8 river 8.

the most funny beat I ever gave to someone was when I decided to push 84s from the sb in some 888 freeroll, right before the money. I covered him and thought it's a good play on the bubble. He called with JJ and flop came out...888. could not believe that one tbh.
