Reading through the posts I've seen the phrase "represent the flop". What does this mean? Thanks

Thanks Jesus, your post was very informative. This is a strategy that I use, I just didn't know what it was called. One of my favorite ways to play it is when I am in the big blind and the flop comes with a small pair. I bet like I have hit the set and can usually buy the pot.
