Hello I read the rules for this thread and am not sure so if its not allowed just delete.

I play tournaments mainly and am pretty ok with getting into the money most of the time. But I really am not good at cash games and I don't know why tbh. Are there any tips anyone here could give me what you should look out for or train or maybe even what I should look up to become a better cash player. Or maybe even what strategy you use so I could try and develop one for myself.

Kind regards and thank you in advance!!

There are two main differences between tournaments and cash games:

1) In cash games you are not trying to survive or outlast other players.
2) In cash games stacks are typically deeper, which mean, that turn and river play happen far more often, and stack-off ranges are narrower.

Point 2) is probably the most difficult adjustment for people transitioning from tournaments to cash games.

I should start doing some cash games even though I prefer tournaments because its more competition-based. Cash games tmo need a bit of persistence and not hurrying to compete with all existing players from the moment you step in.
