Unless the opponent is quite crazy, then if they are willing to risk say $6.25 or more on the hand (125 big blinds+) I'm probably willing to release pocket Tens.
The big question is, what's the most you think they will commit with a hand like 77-99 and that should be about the cap for what you'll get in with TT

In some respects, it takes a lot for me to give up on a premium preflop hand like TT, but on the other hand there are also situations where I'm looking to quickly fold to any bet!
For me, it more depends on table image and the board texture. Table image since I'm more likely to call down a maniac with TT than a nit; similarly, board texture as TT is easier to get away from when the board is heavily connected, or more over cards to our pair.
This might all sound fundamental to poker, but it greatly varies for me on the situation

I'll play it in most situations, 3-betting it myself from all positions and calling 3-bets from most positions (LP 4-bet). Getting re-raised by more than one player in the same hand is typically enough to get me to fold it.

It's not the amount. It's the action. Say Player A raises 4xBB, Player B re-raises to 10xBB, you call with TT, and then player A raises again to 30xBB? You're probably dominated. Do you waste another 20BB knowing you're probably going to need to hit a set to win? Should you have called the original 10xBB to begin with considering there were two raises in front of you with the possibility of more action to come? When you get right down to it, a lot of hands dominate 10s.

I'm saying to myself why would you even try to "scare" someone off a hand when you know playing such limits that you're going to get bad players that would keep going along with it.
Its like again, overplaying these drawing hands like AK, AQ AJ and you cbet the flop and bet the flop and you have ace high and you expect randy rookie to fold either middle pair or something. And this is especially the case if Randy has been watching the bettor bet only big cards and there aren't any on the flop or you're an aggressive donk that bets air.
DON'T DO IT. Save yourself the headaches and the money. lol

Yeah I think some people watch poker training videos that preach aggression (which is correct IF there is fold equity) and think they gotta bet bet bet. But at most tables at microstakes it's much better to practice pot control until you have an actual hand. Firing 3 barrels with ace high is just spewing chips. Sure if the other guy was chasing a draw all along then you will win the pot on the river (but you would have won it with a check anyway), but if he has a pair, he is calling. You aren't gonna be able to get enough people to fold to bluff profitably.
IF you notice that villains are folding to your raises all the time, then that's time to mix things up a bit. But by default start with TAG style.
