Some players at low stakes raise and barrel every street, putting you under pressure constantly.

Do you tighten up and wait for premiums, or widen your calling range?

What are the best counter-strategies to deal with relentless aggression?

Do you think LAG style is actually profitable at micro stakes, or just spewy?

Don't play their game and go loose and aggressive, but do widen your range of hands you play starting and throughout. LAG is very hard to do correctly unless you're really good, I am not good enough to do it yet. If your tight stay tight and play with more hands than usual, then let them bet and just call them when you have something.

An aggressive player has to be punished and unfortunately in many cases luck is tricky

I make this short: If they bluff a lot (and they do if they barrel EVERY street), you call a lot - sometimes with ace high on the river.

When it comes to raising them with or without a good hand, it depends on how often they can fold their weaker range. If they are a total maniac, you should probably not bluff them back often. But if they are an observant LAG and perceive you as a tight player, you can use the combination of their weak range and your image and bluff raise them sometimes.

But trapping is the classic defense against a very aggressive player. And you can't wait for premiums if you want to earn the maximum. If they are idiotic maniacs, a nitty style works but is less profitable, and the risk is that some other players take their money before you get your chance.
