This hand bugged me a bit... I felt there should have been a way to win it, maybe I was bluffed on the river and should have played it more aggressively. What do you think?

Looks like he might have had a small pair on the flop? Bet harder on the flop?

Was he trying to represent the 4? Your bets preflop and on the flop would tell me, good starting hand, but probably not a starting pair. The flop shows nothing that would hit a normal good starting hand, so he may have had nothing and decided that you also had nothing, or he had a small piece and decided you had missed?

Then again, Im not that great at this analysis stuff :)
