I've been running into quite a few of these kind of hands the last couple of days. Any way to avoid?

I open to 30c frm CO with TdJd. SB calls. Everyone else fold.

9d3s5d flop.

SB checks, I cbet 50% pot. Call. Should I have bet higher?

Turn's Ad. He checks again.

I bet 2/3 pot. He instacalls. Should I have bet higher?

River is Qd. He leads out with about 3/4 pot.

Is J high flush ever good here? Would he lead out with anything but Kd? The bet sizing is large if he was trying a blocker bet.

I shook my head and called in case he has Td. A bit tilting I think.

Kd2c... maybe if I bet bigger on the flop he would have folded

I think I agree with your river assessment,
Blocker bets are usually weak small sized bets, healthy large river donk bets usually indicate strength,
Its a pot that that has been stolen from us but I think we just have to fold and move on as annoying as it is. All is not lost though as we gained some information from villian.
- he calls out of position pre flop with a wide range of junk.
- he calls flop bets with little to no equity
- he leads rivers with made hands.
Lots of info to capitalise on in the future.
Good luck!!

Basically, it doesn't seem much wrong, and since he seems to have quite a bit of crap in his preflop calling range, you're going to win against this Villain in the long run.

As for the flop size, you can think about the size, but I wouldn't go too big readless. After all, your JT also has some equity as two overcards, as long as you don't let his range get too strong.

I wouldn't beat your self up too badly.

1) At $10 NL, that river donk bet can literally be ANY Diamond

2) His preflop and flop call with his hand was atrocious. I hope you stayed at the table and stacked him on a future hand. I don't think he was ever folding at any point.
