Preflop
Fine spot to 3-bet.

Flop
A donk lead in a 3-bet pot is a pretty strong action, but you do have a gutshot with two overs, so for me folding here is way to tight. I do not want to raise either though, because I do not think, he is leading with nothing.

Turn
You improve to top pair, but the Villain fire again, which is somewhat concerning. I still think, folding is to tight though, and you still have a gutshot, although he could have turned it already with QJ. So I call here but not loving the situation.

River
I think, its ok to fold here. There are no busted draws, and it seems unlikely, he would ever do this with a worse hand for value. I guess, there is KJ, but why would KJ lead the flop. It is sort of close though, since you are getting 3:1, so you only need to be good 1 in 4 times.
