Hi Everyone, Here's my Rant for Today!:p I have been reading Daniel Negreanu's poker journal on his website FullContact.com and He wrote an entry the other day about the 2006 WSOP schedule. It seems that the "new" WSOP is getting away from many forms of poker and concentrating on more Holdem events. Even though Texas HE is so popular right now, other forms of the game are going to the wayside. I myself really never paid attention to all the scheduling in the past but what I have seen from this one it's seems to be true. When Harrahs bought out Binions and then I found out they were moving the events over to the Rio, I told my husband that it was an end to an era. I don't like change in something that has been around for years like this. I can understand the "Need" to move it because of space but to change the schedule of events? I really like the idea of everyone having a chance like they do but you know it really is sad that Harrahs doesn't atleast keep the WSOP "Sacred". Just as Daniel said in his journal it's the World Series of Poker not the World Series of Texas Holdem. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!!!
