What’s a good strategy for freerolls, especially with so many all-ins happening?

Фрироллы слишком сложны, поэтому многие игроки могут играть в олл-ин
If you find a win in a freeroll, there are consequences, your strategy should be unusual: secret, solid, aggressive poker.
Players either don't understand what they're doing or they just want to have fun. If you have a full table of such opponents, you know what it means: normal poker has come to an end.
You can meet a wide variety of players in freerolls, but in general, all your conflicts can be divided into two types:
1. A type who doesn't know anything about poker at all
2, Type, this tournament
indifferent

After the first 10 to 15 minutes of a freeroll pass by, the percentage of all ins slows way down. So lots of times I late register in a freeroll to avoid the early chaos. Good luck in your journey of getting through freerolls and making it to the final table.

Os freerolls são complicados porque muitos jogadores vão all-in
My strategy is called ‘don't play bingo.’ Even though most opponents play with all kinds of junk, I try to play disciplined and wait for strong cards. It doesn't always work out, but it's definitely better than playing every hand :)

The strategy is simple. You wait for a relatively strong hand and go all-in. Once you have enough chips, you can start calculating and playing to get into the payout zone. Once in the payout zone, you can play more casually, but of course, carefully.

Strategia este simplă. Aștepți o mână relativ puternică și pariezi all-in. Odată ce ai suficiente jetoane, poți începe să calculezi și să joci pentru a intra în zona de plată. Odată ajuns în zona de plată, poți juca mai relaxat, dar, bineînțeles, cu atenție.
If you play tight, after a few hands of Fold, when you do All In it is possible that no one will give the Call!

Just go as you should with pathological overbetters: never 3bet them pre or 3bet condensed, get your ranges tight and nut-heavy, and in case of huge all-ins your ranges should like for 99% contain nuts

Though as you are probably dealing with not just overbetters, but also maniacs, you should update your definition of nuts against these players, top pair good kicker can pretty much be considered pretty close to the nuts if your opponents constantly shoves middle pairs.

If the shoves occur preflop and you are sure that your opponent is a maniac (as there are weak players that can go shoving with big pairs, so proceed with caution unless you have seen them shoving multiple times in a short period of time), then:
1. With multiple callers only call with big pairs
2. If nobody called and most likely won't, you can call them with medium+ pocket pairs, medium+ aces and, if the player is completely insane and shoves every second hand, low aces could work too. You can also call with low pocket pairs, but in this case you will be flipping with 50% chance to double-up and 50% chance to bust.

If it is not a maniac and they shove rarely, just fold to their open-shoves. The same applies to the nits, who have very low (<10%) VPIP but who may open-shove strong hands.

Patience! Wait for a great hand. If one doesn't come early then just play normal game once early barrage of allins subsides.

Mathematically, if you wait for a really good hand and just call those people who go all-in blindly all the time, a big part of the time you will beat them and give yourself a big stack of chips to play the rest of the tournament much more comfortably.

Unfortunately a small part you'll bust out early due to bad luck/beats, just live with that and don't think about it too much.

If noone calls them out ever, they'll just keep eating away everyone's chips gradually

If you don't play ultra tight the first hour it's highly likely you will bust. Freerolls are not like any normal tournament. People will call or put you all in on any two.

After late registration you'll see more normal poker being played.

It's a freerolls, so everyone are going to play aggressive, so basically is how much luck you have in those game.

The best strategy is to not waste your time on freerolls but play a regular microstakes tournament instead. WYPIWYG (what you pay is what you get) ;)

The best strategy for freerolls is to play a large number of them. Then even playing with inadequate opponents, you can win something.

Don't play everything at once, and be disciplined. With so many players, it's hard to call a free freeroll poker. Only if you manage to get close to the final table.

Thanks! In short, play tight with strong hands, the kind I’d go all-in with.

If you don't want to get involved, wait for a really good hand and go all in, they'll always pay you, then just hope you don't get screwed, but it will happen a lot in freerolls.

patience, alot of the all inners either get knocked out early or build up a bankroll and tables get switched, mid game with high blinds are good time to build up bank roll
