1️⃣ It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
You can’t win a 5,000-player tournament in the first hour, but you can definitely lose it. Stay patient. Protect your stack early.
2️⃣Forget the leaderboard.
You don’t need to crush everyone. Your only job is to survive each level. Focus on decisions, not results.
3️⃣ Adjust to the chaos.
In huge fields, you’ll meet every kind of player: maniacs, nits, dreamers, and pros. Adapt fast, every table is a new ecosystem.
4️⃣ Stay emotionally stable.
Bad beats will happen. You might lose 80/20s or run into setups. The key is not to tilt. Big fields reward the ones who stay composed longest.
5️⃣ Use your breaks wisely.
Stretch, breathe, hydrate. The mental reset between levels is more valuable than another quick hand review.
6️⃣ Deep run mindset.
When you’re down to a few hundred left, switch gears: open up spots, apply pressure, and play to win, not just to cash.
7️⃣ Remember why you started.
Big fields are brutal, but that final table glow? It’s worth every beat, every fold, every sleepless night.

And you how do you survive in tournaments with large fields?
