How do you usually play small and medium pocket pairs (22–99) when you’re 80–100bb deep early in a tournament?
Do you mostly set-mine, or do you open them aggressively?
Yeah, deep stacked I like to set-mine (min raise, or call to opens) 22 to 77. For 88+ I start considering 3-betting pre flop, specially in late positions.
You have good options with 80-100 BBs with these hands, you can try and see a flop cheaply or you can be more aggressive with them. It’s all going to depend on your opponents and how the table dynamics are during that moment.
