Medium stacks in late-stage tournaments.

In the late stages of a tournament, do you think it's better to play aggressively with a medium stack or wait for premium spots? I often get stuck around the final 20 players.

Table dynamics is the key to how we play. If our table is loose and agg we stick to premium spots. If they are passive and over folding post flop, we widen our post flop betting range.

Agree with eetenor, it depends on the table tendencies.

Also, you want to play more high card hands (KJ, QJ, Ax) than drawing hands (suited connectors) because it's more difficult to realize your equity than when you're deepstacked.

Can you clarify a bit how deep you are still in these spots (in big blinds), also are the tables 9 players or less?
