I play a lot of PKO tournaments and i actually focus just as much on the players who bounty hunt with trash often to build up my stack, my advice is - position is extremely important in these tournaments, good players will isolate and good players will squeeze play a lot to get you to fold if you raise with marginal or low suited hands or pairs..mixing up the range is fine to a degree but limp play unless trapping with bleed you chips as will min raising.
I always look to extract max value from a player who does this especially when a bounty is on the line.

Learn how much you need to adjust ranges on account of the Bounty. Calling all-ins ranges will be wider... but by how much? (this where one needs to learn formulas for making calculations)

It's not point to trying to knock out someone in first 15min with premium hand (that premium can be garbage... 😀 )and maybe be eliminated immediately!
Playing it like any other tournaments, but don't forget- if you have chance to knock someone and take that sweet bouny- take it! Patiently go to the ft...😉

In KO tournaments it is important not to get carried away and enter any hand to get the bounty. Don't play hunting for bountys. Play to increase your stack. So when the chance comes you will have enough stack to eliminate the villain and you will also have enough stack to reach the cash. Avoid playing the lottery.

My strategy is not to forcefully want to win a bounty, it is not worth risking so much, I have seen many players risk their stack with very bad cards just to want to win the Bounty of players who are absent and everything goes wrong for them, so there is You have to be smart and not just take risks to win the bounty
