Limping can be tricky to handle, especially in multi-table tournaments. Many players limp with weak or speculative hands, trying to see cheap flops, but this can be exploited if you approach it correctly.

1. Isolate with Strong Hands
If a player limps, you can raise (often 2.5–3× the big blind) with strong hands to isolate them. This helps you play heads-up against a weaker range and take control of the pot.

2. Adjust Your Position
Position is key. If you’re in early position, be more selective about which limpers you isolate. From late position, you can widen your range and steal the pot more often.

3. Mix in 3-Bets
Against frequent limpers, don’t be afraid to 3-bet with premium hands or strong suited connectors. This puts pressure on them and can take down the pot preflop.

4. Pay Attention to Stack Sizes
Short stacks often limp to shove later, so avoid bloating the pot with marginal hands. Conversely, deep stacks can be forced to fold more often with well-sized raises.

5. Postflop Play
After isolating a limper, you often have position and a better hand range. Bet aggressively on favorable boards, but watch for traps — some limpers hit disguised monsters.

6. Exploit Tendencies
Track how the limpers play. Passive limpers can be pushed off hands postflop; aggressive ones may require a tighter approach.

Summary:
Limpers can be frustrating, but by isolating the right hands, adjusting your position, and exploiting tendencies, you can turn their passivity into profit.
