How Do You Adjust Your Strategy on the Bubble with a Medium Stack?

I’ve been struggling with finding the right balance between aggression and survival when sitting on a medium stack near the bubble. Sometimes I get too passive and miss opportunities, other times I take risks and bust just before the money. How do you usually approach this stage? Do you prefer tightening up, or applying pressure on shorter stacks?
