I will give a general response to what I see when playing against other who get and often are chip leaders early. Many of these players are way over aggressive and want every pot to go to them when there in the had and use the chips to bully them. While this is not a bad idea to use your chips to your advantage its the fact they go over board doing this.  Every chance they have and see a player with 20BB or more raise they jam for max pressure and may do this 2, 3 or even 4 times per orbit.  Another issue is seeing them use the flop to push players.  I saw this one the other day.  Player raised 2.25X of a 40+ BB stack and this guy called. Flop was 752 rainbow and he jammed all in.  Yes players will fold to this but there are a lot of pairs that call. FYI player called with aces and this clown pushed 96 off for nearly 50BB .  Sure you dont play this way but it gives you and idea.
