The bubble phase always feels different to me — players suddenly tighten up, and some start shoving very wide. I know ICM pressure should change how I play, but I sometimes struggle to adjust properly.
For example, I’ve folded hands that probably were good shoves just because I didn’t want to risk bubbling. On the other hand, I’ve also called too light thinking I was ahead.
What’s your personal approach to handling the bubble? Do you push harder to exploit tight players, or do you prefer to play more carefully to lock in a cash?
