Fold AA?

ICM can make it correct to fold AA preflop, it just rarely happens. Example: you're playing a double or nothing tournament with 10 players, now 6 are left, 5 of them have 8000 chips (you included) and one has 500 chips. In this situation every player with 8000 chips should shove 100% of hands (at least assuming the 500 chip players has already folded) and other players with 8000 chips should fold 100% of hands.

And for those not playing this particular format the equivalent is a satellite. The key element is, that all the payouts are the same, so there is no reward for cashing with a big stack as opposed to a small stack.

I am calling in most circumstances. I might consider folding if it is against multiple opponents and we are on or very near the bubble.
