If I’m not calling someone’s all in jam when I’m holding AA pre flop I need to quit playing this game.At ANY time in a tournament, if you would be eliminated, do you call an all-in push preflop when holding AA🤔🤔🤔
My bad - I should rephrase my question - with emphasis on “ if you would be eliminated, do you fold to”.At ANY time in a tournament, if you would be eliminated, do you call an all-in push preflop when holding AA🤔🤔🤔
If the player with 500 chips has folded, why would you take a chance on facing elimination with the possibility of being called or calling a shove (allowing the SS to claim the 5th spot)? This situation is simply a no brainer- fold and wait for the SS to be eliminated. You shouldn’t need ICM to tell you this.ICM can make it correct to fold AA preflop, it just rarely happens. Example: you're playing a double or nothing tournament with 10 players, now 6 are left, 5 of them have 8000 chips (you included) and one has 500 chips. In this situation every player with 8000 chips should shove 100% of hands (at least assuming the 500 chip players has already folded) and other players with 8000 chips should fold 100% of hands.
Easy call, if not a satellite. You only fold AA preflop in satellites when you are deep enough to be guranteed to cash out. Aces just have too much equity preflop against any hand, that it can only be eliminated by the exceptional ICM levels of satellites. At ANY time in a tournament, if you would be eliminated, do you call an all-in push preflop when holding AA🤔🤔🤔
If you close to money and you are short, you can fold AA pre flop, no shameAt ANY time in a tournament, if you would be eliminated, do you call an all-in push preflop when holding AA🤔🤔🤔
Because the remaining players should fold 100% of hands so there should be zero risk.If the player with 500 chips has folded, why would you take a chance on facing elimination with the possibility of being called or calling a shove (allowing the SS to claim the 5th spot)? This situation is simply a no brainer- fold and wait for the SS to be eliminated. You shouldn’t need ICM to tell you this.
