I often find myself in tricky spots during the middle stages of tournaments, when the average stack is around 30–40bb. Part of me wants to stay aggressive and build a stack, but another part says to tighten up and focus on surviving until the money.
Sometimes I wonder if I lose chips by being too cautious, or risk busting too early by playing too aggressively. How do you personally find the right balance between survival and chip accumulation in these stages? Do you adjust based on table dynamics, or do you stick to one strategy most of the time?

I think that it is precisely in the middle stages that you need to turn on aggression in order to either continue the tournament with a good stack, or drop out of the tournament and not waste time and energy.
