I think Bad Beats and Suck-outs are just part of the game, Accepting that they happen in Poker makes you a better player, It is just the Bad Players who feel cheated and start yelling "Rigged" because they feel cheated and cannot accept that these things happen. Conspiracies are just another way of blaming everyone else because they think the whole World is against them, when the fact is they themselves are their own worst enemy. I remember in one game a player was raising too often, and caught me with a pair of 9s in my hand on my BB, I knew instinctively that he was play A/K or similar so called his raise along with another player on the SB, This other player was a bit of a Dark Horse to me but I made Trips on the Flop of 8,9,10 . SB checked, I checked, and the Aggressive player shoved all-in, now against this one player I would be calling all the way but as the SB called I was concerned they might have spiked a straight, I mentally calculated the pot size and felt calling was my best option as I was getting 5-1 odds and called. The turn card was a 10 giving me a Full house and the SB checked again, Now because I felt this 10 had not improved the SB hand I was convinced they had made a straight so I shoved all-in for the rest of my chips, They called and my instincts were proved right. SB had a straight to a Queen, the Aggressor had A/K and my Full house took both pots, Luck? possibly, Bad Beat Certainly to the SBs straight, but the player screaming collusion from me and the SB was the Aggressive player thinking he had been cheated. As we had a Casino Dealer at the table he said there was no way we had colluded against him and the decision was sealed. Bad Players will always play the Blame Game! It is always someone else's fault they are Loser's!
