Hi, is it wise to Limp with AA pre-flop at an average stack final table, or just go all in?

It’s never wise to limp AA unless maybe it folds to in the SB and it’s just you and the BB, but that’s a big maybe. Also why go all in with it, just make your standard raise based on your BB stack.

I think it's better to upload and play it.

In my humble opinion a good hand pre flop needs to be defended. Imagine you just call and BB checks with 62os, in the flop come 62os or 22 or 543... Then you lose with the best pre flop. If you have bet 3 or 4 BB, the BB would have fold with his weak hand. I often watched slow played rockets lose, so I would never do so.

I don't like Limp with AA. Too often it ends poorly.

Everything depends on the specific situation. If there are many players, you might choose to limp in and see how things develop. But if you clearly feel that all-in is the best move (for example, in a 1v1 situation), then go for it.

In this situation, I think you shouldn't limp with AA, as there could be a lot of calls and the post flop could get complicated.

Need a lot more information before I can give you any suggestion, and even then who’s to say it would be correct.

Well it depends...,

generally not sure why you'd want to do that,

maybe post some hand history situations to get more helpful responses...

I always go all-in with AA. If you limp, there’s about a 50% chance someone will outdraw you because too many players see the flop. But if there are only 3 players left at the final table, then yeah, I might limp.

Limp only in BW, all in with AA depends on the blinds.

I think it would not be a good idea to limp with AA, you will give many players the opportunity to enter and there is a chance that they will catch a good strong combination with a weak hand, it's best to open up with a raise or go all-in right away

It depends on the villains, if most of players are aggressive the limp is good option, thinking on a trap depending on the flop cards

Well, it technically can be wise against some maniacs and also in some short-stack ChipEV GTO scenarios. But in general yeah.

Go all in, thats the play, if you limp and they don't hit the flop (they probably won't so they will fold and you will win 2.5 bbs with the best hand in the game ._. and if they do they can break your aces so you would lose which is even worse ._.)
So just shove the aces and hope for a call of other pair or AK,AQ or something like that.
God bless

Limp and then Shove = KK, AA 100% of times.

I think you can do it sometimes, but generally it's better to raise of shove depending on your stack, position etc.

For example, if you are short and tournament has bounties just shove 100% of time

I would raise minimum 5-6 bet and then go all in.

Neither of those are wise if you do not know why you are doing it specifically. If you are not well versed in FT strategy always just min open AA at the suggested stack size in your post.

To further your study, look at the Cardschat course FT section

Never limping.
Small raise hoping someone has picked up a big hand & puts in an over bet
