That Luck is much better then skill.. This is an old hand history.. In this case I went in with the best hand, not much more then I can do when I had best hand... the flush draw player, hot cards.. hitting everything he plays..(one who think luck is the best). I have played against him many of times.. I personally believe skill is the better of the 2, but yes luck does help on occasion...

Well, you were in a tough spot since you were shortstacked. Pocket 8's are a good hand to go all in with considering you probably wouldn't get a better hand soon. I'm surprised two players called your all-in. I certainly wouldn't call an all-in with pocket 3's or K, 8 suited. SO yeah, luck was certainly at play here.

I just bet good hands out, so tbh the cards are usually indicative over both luck and skill. Unless you call waiting for good cards and betting aggressive skill ;]
