Too passive? Or should there be a fold in here somewhere?

I would have put him on J,10 based that he has position, but maybe A,J or even possibly Ace rag and in this case bet the rag. Lower limits like this, people tend to limp in with Ace rag and bet the rag when it hits hoping they get 2 pair. The turn bet by him was weak, 100 chip bet on a 300 chip pot. The flop he sweatened the 120 pot with 120 bet but yet only bets 1/3 and less of a bet this time around? You could have raised here to establish you have the straight cause of the BB(one never knows what the BB has when they let the BB come in).

Then makes it 220 on a 400 chip count on the river. I would go with K,rag or Q,rag or J rag. Those last 2 bets didn't scream anything except mid or low pair on the board..

My guess here between the both of you. Feeling each other out, he didn't want to commit to much early on just in case you had him beat if he does have J,rag. So basically you both establish what each other has, you get a feel of what he may limp in with mid position.(advantage goes to you even though you may have lose here). You gained valuable information on him just by being passive.

My guess from the both of you, feeling each other out. It is the 3rd hand, he didn't want to

I'm sitting here , trying to decipher the way it was written these programs need to come up with a better logging system if you ask me...

I'm sitting here trying to figure out Who won (I'm guessing "hero"/you) , what did they have , or did they muck? etc for fourty five minutes lol....

In any event , I can't figure out why on earth he would bet 120 then 100.

I agree it's an intresting betting pattern , but once you made up your mind to call with the ace you weren't gonna waver. I think maybe he didn't want to show weakness (which he did anyways) so he continued to bet, but was too self-conscience of losing excess money (so he lowered it on the turn) and then he realized he had lost so he attempted a desperate buy at the pot on the river.

Amateur to the fullest :)

Raise the flop. Charge him for his flush or baby straight draw. It's a bit too soon to give him credit for a set (although he could of course be playing J4s - because it's s000000ted!!!!). When that ace hits the turn, it gets complicated, but I would bet again. He wouldn't have raised you on the flop with a draw like AK or AQ, but he might have with a straight or flush draw containing an ace. I'd find a way to get a cheap showdown. I have no idea where we stand here.

KJ sort of wins.

Results below:
Hero has Js Kh (one pair, jacks).
MP2 has Th Qd (high card, ace).
Outcome: Hero wins t950.

No pair, no draw on the flop. :)
