This was an interesting tournament. ACR has been doing these Twitch gamer partnerships where they host these huge freerolls with about 1k up top and a 1k bounty on the Twitch host who can rebuy and get KO'd up to 5 times. Rebuy was $2.20. There were 2304 runners most of whom could barely spell Poker. It's quite an interesting format. You start with some absurd number of bbs, like 1700 or something and blinds go up every 4 minutes in pretty large jumps until late stage when blinds go up every 5 minutes like any other turbo. There are alot of chips in play early on and I played well enough to get to about the final 100 and got unlucky. So that's the background. This hand was in the later stages and most of the people left had some clue about how to play but still pretty soft.
I make an easy call with 33 from the BB and I think I made a betting error after hitting bottom set. SB leads this flop so I assume he has a K. I raise expecting a shove but he folds instead. Was this raise too big or was he just playing around with his lead? Should I just flat there? I was a little concerned about 2 clubs but he probably isn't leading with just a flush draw. Although his stats are not outrageous here, on sharkscope he is a MASSIVE loser to the tune of over 11k over the last 7 years. I didn't know that during this hand but I looked him up later. What do you think would have been the better play?
