Its close. If the bubble has just burst, UTG could be jamming wide with only 6 bigs left, and you are getting a discount being in the big blind. But on the other side A8o is rarely far ahead, so its not the best hand to call an all-in with. If for instance the opponent has a hand like QJs, you only have something like 55% equity, and if he has A2-A7, there will be a lot of chopped pots. So its a marginal but propably ok call.

A8o would be fine to shove with if the positions were reversed because you are still assuming you are up against a pair of random hands. However, when someone shoves in front of you like that, the reshove range needs to be a lot tighter.

Hero is BB. So he is calling closing action, he is not reshoving.
