Oh ladyluck is everything, it makes or breaks a poker player. For me luck rarely plays a hand in my poker stratergies (it plays a big hand in what happends but not my stratergy). Instead I rely on patience and my limited ability to read my opponents as the core of my stratergy. I almost never rely on luck when I need to make a decision, if I call Im confident I have a good hand, if I raise, then I think I have the best hand. If im not sure, I fold. I dont usually leave anything to chance unless Im really low on chips and the blinds are killing me, that too I'll wait for the best possible moment. For me, relying on luck is calling all in with pp AA or KK. I always try to make sure when I commit all my chips, and me and my opponent turns over our cards, I will always have the better hand, luck only then becomes a factor if there are remaining cards yet to be dealt on the board. There is no point in chasing luck (especially for those who play marginal
hands) and risking your chips and place in the tourney when all you need to do is sit there and wait for it to come to you.The less you rely on luck, the more chances that you will remain in the tourney till the end. There are other factors also in determining whether or not luck will feature in my stratergy i.e. the stage of the tourney, my stack size, the pot, what kind of player im up against, my position on the table, my overall luck so far in the tourney if applicable(if i had terrible luck then forget it) and so on. To cut to the chase, I dont leave things to chance unless I have to. There I just told everyone my poker stratergy, so next time you see me raise, fold your full house. Thank you.
