I wonder if I was right in paying this bet.

Being a button, I thought it was a decent hand.

I would call and wait for the action of the other two, in case they raised I would give up!👍👊

A lot depends on what we know about villain who is already in and what we know about the blinds behind us. Where we are in the tournament as far as stage of the tournament and also rank (ICM) would also come into play. If I was readless here, K9 suited is decent and we are on the button but we have a stack that not conducive to seeing flops as we would if we and everyone else was deeper. K9 suited is also one of those hands that looks better than what it really is since we could easily be dominated here. So unless I know opening villain is loose (also looks like we are not 4 handed here but more than that and the pic just blocks them out) I just fold here. If effective stacks were deeper than I think its fine to call here. I would not jam here with this weak of a hand especially in a freeroll where your fold equity is less than normal.

The first thing to note here is, that there is no ante, and for that reason you are definitly to deep to rejam preflop. You are more than 20BB against the original opener, and you are almost 30BB against the SB. I also think, this hand is to weak to make a small 3-bet against an open from this early. So for me the options here are fold or call. There is no shame in folding, especially since you are less incentivized to get involved without an ante. But I also dont mind taking a flop on the best seat at the table and try to outplay the opponent postflop with a decent suited hand.
