UTG 78 BB raises 2bb, CO hero 8h8d, 76bb stack calls, bb calls 102bb

Flop TsTh3d (7,4bb)

BB checks, UTG checks, hero bets 3bb, BB raises 8,5bb, UTG folds, hero calls

Turn 6h (24,4bb)

BB bets 12bb, hero calls

river 5c (48,4bb)

BB all in, hero (54bb stack remaining) ???

I don't believe at the beggining of tournament, but his line is very strong. Should I call? Should I check flop and let them draw?

No info on villain.

Your calls was reasonable.

Hard to say if you should check or let them draw... it's important to consider the strength of the opponent's range...

If the hero believes that the BB is capable of bluffing in this spot, they may consider calling. However, if the hero thinks that the villain only has strong hands in their range, it may be best to fold.

When he reraises you after flop you have to be carefull, you will lose to any T and over pairs, I think you should let it go here, and as you do not improve your 88 it is only gambling, there will be plenty of time later, when your know if it is a bluffer or a decent player you are up against, and then you can make much better decisions.

? you are the one on the draw against any pair over your 88 as that is nowhere near the nuts.

We can 3-bet 88 from time to time but against an UTG open calling is certainly the more standard line.

Flop
Between them they can have as many as 12 outs to an overcard, so I think, its fine to put out a small bet mainly for equity denial. However the problem is, that when you get raised, you are in a terrible spot with no good ways out. With that being said I guess, its fine to call now and hope, he slows down later.

Turn
At least he did not get there with an overcard, if he is bluffing. So I guess, its ok to call one more time, but folding would also not be crazy.

River
Now I think, you have defended enough. Its not like, he cant have a T in his hand having defended his big blind to a min-raise. So time to believe him and live to fight another day.

Do you have player pool tendency notes?
On such a dry board OOP what is the bottom of the value range here?
What bluffs want to bet these sizings? Does the standard V even have bluffs in this spot?
Are we trying to play close to GTO or can we play max exploit and fold to the narrow range dry board check raise?
Would we use FGS to know that we will face all-ins by the river most often with this flop line from standard V?
