Pre flop: I am folding this. I read on why you 3 bet here but I still dont agree as this is one of the larger stacks at the table besides you so unless you think you can get them fold since they dont want to mess with the big stack then I dont like it. It will take some large bets to get to put bust out pressure on this player since they start with 79 BBs deep and even when an ace comes we cant be that confident in our hand unless you get the flop that you got with two pair. Flop: Clear bet here and I think your sizing is fine and what I probably would have done in game but you probably can bigger. Pocket pairs are not calling any sizing really unless it is 77 or 88 and you can target Ax and also two spade hands. A better sizing would be probably more like 60% or so but again you made the same bet sizing I know I would make in game so not saying it is a mistake by any means. Turn: I do like betting bigger than half here for the same reasons as I put above but I would not go this big. I know the board is double suited and 3 to a straight so its wet and there are hands we beat that we can still get value from its just I wouldnt go this big. Again, more like 60% or so of pot. Do, though, like that you went larger than half pot. River: This is where I dont think anything that you beat is calling you unless villain maybe has AK. I think even AQ from the villain would be folding with to a straight, the backdoor flush, and facing a triple barrel. Too many things out there now that could potentially beat us like A10 or somehow backed into clubs so this is why we bet large on the turn and got value where it made sense to. I check back this river almost instantly when it would come to me. Just not enough that would call, I would think anyway, that we are beating and too many hands that got there by accident on the river. Check behind and take the value you got in the hand and save chips if you are behind here. I understand the bounty element of it but we need to protect our stack as well.
