This statement indicate, that you are letting emotions guide your decision. Jamming and getting called by a better hand feels "stupid", and it cause us to bust from the tournament or lose a big chunk of our stack, unless we bink a suck-out. Folding dont create the same negative feelings, but it cause us to slowly bleed away chips, so that when we finally do go all-in, we are often the player at risk, and we cant "afford" a bad beat to happen. Its important to overcome these emotions and not be afraid to take the high variance route, when its more profitable than the low variance alternative of folding.

I know, but its possible, you could do even better, if you spend some more time studying push-fold ranges. Maybe you play in games, that are really soft, and maybe all your edge comes from postflop play, whereas you are actually leaking in push-fold spots. The problem with winning is, it can easily make us lazy and forget to study. Which is certainly something, I am guilty of as well :)
