Its totally fine to defend with a suited connector to this price.

Flop
You flopped the mother of all draws with 15 outs, and the pot is huge already, so this is a very clear jam. Once in a while you can be in somewhat bad shape multiway, if someone has a big made hand, and someone has a better flushdraw. But you are never drawing dead, when you have 6 outs to the straight, and often you get it in really good, as in fact you did here.

My only issue is that I'm not sure I would have normally played 86s when I'm <20bb. You have to hope that something serious connects. That said, you were certainly more priced in—not just because of being the BB but with all the calls in the pot prior to you. The shove was perfectly justified at that point.

Interesting note that UTG+1 only min-raised with KK. I wonder if he was hoping someone was going to raise later so he could 4-bet jam or something. Anyway...

When both players in the blinds have sub 20BB stacks, min-raising is pretty normal, and he might well be doing this with his entire range.
