Not much to analyze here. Ugh is right. It's just one of those spots where you call and move on to the next tournament..

Preflop
Defending here is fine.

Flop
With a 15 out draw I prefer check-raising over calling. You have 50% equity against a hand like AQ/KQ, so you are happy stacking it off, if he jam on you, and at the same time you do benefit from folding out bluffs like the one, he had.

Turn
At this point I would fold. You are facing an overbet, so you need at least 40% equity to call, and against any kind of reasonable range you only have 30%. Him showing up with a complete airball is definitely an outlier, and even then you were only flipping.

Conclusion
Your turn call is a pretty big mistake, even though you were by some sort of miracle getting the right odds against his exact hand. If you check-raise flop, he most likely go away, or if he jam then, you get it in with 71% equity rather than just 48%. A 15 out draw is extremely strong on the flop but not so much on the turn.

I agree with diver... I'm not putting my tournament life on the river draw for that amount. The stats show there on the turn include the notion that your hole cards are good if you pair them. That's 6 outs. I wouldn't have assumed that thinking that V had the Q so we therefore needed to hit either of the draws. Given that, you are at about 3:2... i.e. you need 40% equity to call this off. You are only at about 33% with the 2 draws.

On top of that, this is for your tournament life... not just a part of your stack. Not sure how I would have played the flop (diver suggested c-r which I don't necessarily agree with but might have done) but the 2nd barrel on the turn is too much.

Do you have access to GTO charts? There are free options----In the BB we have sets 99 55- 2 pair-Q9s + off Q5s 95s we also have all Qxs KQs+o so we have a strong nutted range here- That is why we XR this flop as Fundiver said- we can get folds on turn and with a draw like this we can play for stacks sub 50bb if a Qx jams. You have heard the saying playing for the win- This is that spot- Why because it was the CO who bet flop the CO has the wider range and can be betting the 9 or worse as we saw

Hope this helps

Wtf.... What site is this on that someone is betting w/ A high multi-way on that flop? Holy crud.. haven't even seen this in posting on micro tournaments in a long time.

Any ways, because it's MW I don't hate the flop call, but also CRAI is fine too w/ your stack size. Turn is a clear fold.

As the hand history say, its PokerStars. You know that site, which all the recreational players have left, and there are only tough regs playing there now ;)

Maybe he was on tilt? One of the things, people do on tilt, is to make terrible bluffs like this, because they just want to win a hand, and they dont even care, if they lose...
