UTG: 174,265 (17 bb)
UTG+1: 210,204 (21 bb)
MP: 75,084 (8 bb)
MP+1: 209,467 (21 bb)
CO: 235,103 (24 bb)
BU: 309,732 (31 bb)
SB: 233,600 (23 bb)
BB (Hero): 272,330 (27 bb)

Pre-Flop: (25,000) Hero is BB with 8♦ 6♦
3 players fold, MP+1 raises to 20,000, 2 players fold, SB calls 15,000, Hero calls 10,000

Flop: (70,000) K♦ 6♠ 4♠ (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP+1 bets 21,000, SB folds, Hero calls 21,000

Turn: (112,000) T♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP+1 bets 45,434, BB (Hero) folds

I think that I played it poorly. I think I should played it aggresively, small check raise on flop, with middle pair and backdoor flush draw. How would you play it?

Not exactly sure what you're hinting towards.

A K is very much likely in the MP+1 range and you need two more diamonds for a flush both on turn and river which is less likely than just one card needed.

I'm not sure if I would have called the flop tbh.

But I'm also not playing those buyins, so I might also be very wrong. :)

Your line is completely fine. We dont always need to do something fancy when defending our blinds, and turning second pair into a bluff does not make much sense. He is not folding a K, so you would only be targeting hands like 77-TT, which is only a small part of his range.

ok this turn bet is our study point--is this sizing balanced for value and river shoves?----We need to know this so that we can plan our river actions-- we are thinking about how high up in our range is our hand for an MDF river call--- We do this now off table by building our ranges on each street in a hand like this- we can use GTO charts if we have them-at this stack depth by the way there is no calling preflop of pairs 77 and above it is shove or raise

Recognizing that the V took an action that appears to be to play for stacks on river we can fold this turn bet if we are not strong on range construction and refinement----

thing we do is note the player as having skill
