Preflop Due to the large bounty I would tend to do a lot of 3-betting in this spot and almost no calling. It just makes it so much easier to build a pot and possibly bust the guy and win his bounty. But 87o is nowhere near strong enough to either call or 3-bet, so its just a fold. The bottom of my range would be something like JTs and KJo, and I would usually 3-bet these hands. Flop I dont like to do a lot of bluff raising on A high boards, because its just to likely, he has top pair, and that he will not fold it either now or later. And I also think, calling is a bit iffy. Yes you are getting a good price, but you only have a gutshot, and its a bad gutshot, because its to the low end of a straight. A T will give KQ a better straight, and this is a hand, both opponents would very easily have even in the offsuit variety. So a very non-zero percentage of the time, even when you "get there", you just set yourself up to lose a big pot. You are also not closing action, so BB could still check-raise and blow you off your hand. So even here I would still fold. Turn Now he slow down, and ignoring how you got here, you have a hand with no showdown value, so its clearly a candidate to bluff. You also have a spade, which is nice for representing a flush, should another spade come on the river. So as played I would bet relatively big here essentially saying, that I have a J, and then I would also bet big on most rivers. River As played I would give up. If you raise now, you are only representing a flush, whereas if you bet turn and bet river, you can also represent trips. The guy probably has an A and checked turn for pot control, when the J paired, and I am not keen on trying to make a microstakes player fold top pair. The hands, I would think, I could possibly get him off by betting turn and river, would be hands like KK, QQ, TT, KQ, KT. Hands that neither have an A or a J in them.
