The history, the fans, the potential… and then the results. Venting about the management, the baffling transfer decisions, and the persistent lack of consistency is practically a national sport at this point. Re-living the glory days is the only refuge sometimes, but it’s hard to keep that memory alive when the present is so… well, you know. Misery loves company, though, so I’m sure there are plenty of other “Blues” out there feeling the same frustration.

David Moyes hopes to make one of the hallmarks of his return a common theme for some of his biggest backers. The Blues boss took three points from Brighton in his first away match after returning in January with Everton mired in a relegation fight. It was a hard-fought, gruelling win that came at a cost, with Orel Mangala suffering a season-ending knee injury and Dominic Calvert-Lewin picking up a serious hamstring issue.
