What exactly is this?

I know there are way to many of the post and topics on the poker tracker software, but really I need to know what this is.

This isn't something that is considered cheating is it??? I really don't want something that is going to tell me the flops, or what other people have, that wouldn't be fair to me or them. I'd rather play fair and lose then cheat and win or have somebody cheat agianst me.

Does it just keep track of your stats? hands played? all of that???

I'm a little confused, could somebody give me alittle info please?
